It's a WONDERFUL life!

Hey all!

This week has been psycho busy!! Muncie's literally on fire. Like I am looking for a hose.... haha lol.

We got to see all of our favorites this week!! 'N' and 'J' are progressing well. We taught them the Plan of Salvation on Monday with Sister Spaulding, and it went super well! 'N' especially loves that her family can be eternal. We went back on Friday to watch Meet the Mormons with them. Following that, we got to answer some question about our missions and then 'N' said, "Oh, by the way, we talked about it, and we do want to get baptized!" Sister Cook and I love this family so much. It has been a JOY to teach them. We are going to go see them tonight and we are pumped!! They have been prepared for this WONDERFUL message of the restored gospel and are so ready to accept it!

We saw 'K' and 'B' on Tuesday, and they are doing so well! 'K' is just the brightest little nine year old I have ever met!! We have gotten pretty close with her and her mom. One of these days I will remember to snap a picture with them!!

Wednesday I got to spend the day with the lovely Sister Meecham, and we just had so much FUN serving together in the Munice 1 area!!! I was starting to get a little sick though, and then on Thursday I was like mega sick:(. So that day, I rested as much as I could.

Thankfully, I was feeling better by Friday, which was our Christmas Conference!!! We met up with the Fort Wayne, Muncie, and Dayton stakes and we had a talent show, played some games and then had a Christmas Devotional. It wasWONDERFUL!!! I just have so much love for the missionaries in this area!!!

A WONDERFUL day of being fed both in body and spirit!

I got to see my BABY Sister Evensen which is always a good time.

Ah yeah. Saturday was Christmas Eve!! We went to the Spauldings for lunch, and I just love their family so much. We had a BLAST! Ate good food, and a great dessert, played catch phrase... it was FABULOUS.

Following that, Sister Cook and I went to a women's shelter and we cooked up some sides for their Christmas dinner. It was so AWESOME!!!

Later that day we went to the Roger's for dinner, and let me just say, their kids LOVE me. We were pretending to be tornadoes and it was FANTASTIC.

Sunday was Christmas! We had an hour long church service, and afterwards, Sister Cook and I went and visited our good friends 'R', Sister Baker, Brother Barrage, and 'R', and they were just so DELIGHTFUL!!!!

Then we got to SKYPE HOME!! And can I say that I just LOVE my family?!? I even took selfies with my parents. Yup... That's right.

My mom...
and my dad!

It was really awesome getting to talk with my entire family, and being able to share in the JOY and HAPPINESS as my new little nephew, Asher, was blessed!!!!! That was such a special moment for me!!!!

Love my family so much!
Us being silly... haha!

We had dinner with the Overseers, and then we went and played a few rounds of ping pong.

GOOD TIMES!! Another GREAT Christmas!!! And 2017 is almost here... crazy!!!

Well, I love ya all!!!! Have a FABULOUS week!!

Hoosier Christmas!!!

Hey all,

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Me and Sister Conrad (on exchanges)

This past week was fabulous and busy!! 'R' GOT BAPTIZED!!!!!! Woo hoo. She is the most wonderful person. She has made some amazing changes over the past few months, and she is smiling a whole lot more now!! When she got confirmed on Sunday, she was just beaming, and she said she could feel the Holy Ghost with her now!!!

Oh, Happy day!

That was the highlight of my week! It is unreal to see how someone can be changed through applying the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I will forever be changed by that.

The Zone...

Serving the Lord as one of His missionaries is the greatest privilege and I am so glad to have this opportunity.

Exchanges with Sister Nickel

I know the Gospel is true, and I hope that during this Christmas season you will ponder on the beauty that it is that we have a Savior who's Atonement made it possible for us to live and be happy.

THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!!

Hey all! This week was so crazy... Crazy AWESOME that is!!!

Sister Evensen and I

On Tuesday, I had the WONDERFUL opportunity to go to the beautiful Columbus temple! My baby, Sister Evensen, and I got to reunite for the day and support our dear friend Sister 'R' as she went through the temple for the very first time, and as she was sealed to her family for time and all eternity!!!!

What an INCREDIBLE day!!!

Oh my goodness... it was such a spiritual experience. Sister 'R' is a miracle. And I got to see some of my Eastgate friends as well, so that was SUPER fun:).

Wednesday night, we drove with the Fort Wayne sisters to Cincinnati for our leadership conference the next day. It was so revelatory!!! I learned so many amazing things that are going to help me with my missionary work and therefore with the missionaries that we will be training. This truly is God's work and we cannot do it without His help! He is in charge and we are the tools. I am so pumped and ready to work harder than I ever have before during these final months of my mission. No time to waste!

Quote from the OCM Facebook page: "LIGHTtheWORLD Day 7 ~ 'Jesus fed the hungry and so can you.' Tonight I fed these beautiful sisters who traveled from Fort Wayne & Muncie, IN to the mission home for Mission Leadership Council in the morning... Just visiting with them feeds my soul. #OCM"

Friday I spent the day in Anderson, Indiana with Sister Bennett... We saw so many miracles that day! We found a solid new investigator and also some solid potentials. And we taught the Restoration to this cute couple and it went so well! The Spirit was there in great abundance and 'B' and 'E' have such soft hearts that are ready to learn more about the gospel. It was a WONDERFUL day (snow and all - lol)!!

And Saturday we had a Ward Christmas Brunch! And 'R' and 'N' came!! It was AWESOME. So much fun. So it was a great week! I love this work and feel so blessed to be a part of it.

Our first Christmas gift! (Thanks 'K'!)

This is such a WONDERFUL time of the year, because families get together and love just circles around everywhere. I love the people of Muncie!! And I know God is aware of each indivdual everywhere. He loves us. I know that He has carried me every step of my mission!! And He will carry all of you if you extend your hand towards Him!

Love you all!

#LIGHTtheWORLD

Hello!

I hope you all have had fabulous week! I sure did. Every week is just so amazing out here. There is nothing quite like being a missionary for the Lord.

Raking leaves...

Sister Cook and I are staying in Muncie for another transfer... and I absolutely love this place - so I am super happy!

The district (last transfer)

This week, we have gotten to meet with our favorites, "R", "N","K", and "B", and Sister Cook and I just so blessed to be working with them. They are amazing.

The district (this transfer)

I am so excited for the #LIGHTtheWORLD initiative! Service is truly amazing and brings us closer to our Savior Jesus Christ! He showed us the way to happiness by leading a perfect life, and though we cannot become perfect in this life, we can become perfected through Him who atoned for us. I love my Savior and I love to celebrate His birth this Christmas season. Because of Him, my life is better. I am happy! I am growing and becoming better and stronger! I am so thankful for Him, and for a loving Heavenly Father who sent Him to suffer and die for us. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us so darn much... It's AWESOME! They are cheering for us at all times. If you haven't had the chance, please watch the #LIGHTtheWORLD: 25 Days of Service video(s) on mormon.org!! They are incredible.

Us and "R" at Stake Conference!
The cute couple from Dinuba, California!

The Gospel is true and the only way to happiness. I know that with all my heart. I love y'all!

Us and the Carver's (my mission grandparents)!

Have a blessed week!

Happy Turkey Day!

Oh man. What a week... It has been so crazy. One of my favorites, Sister Conrad, got to be with Sister Cook and I this week because her companion finished her mission and went home for Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun!! We went to Newcastle to work with her in her area on Wednesday and Saturday, and then stayed in Muncie for the rest. There is this couple in Newcastle that the missionaries are teaching who are from Dinuba... Of all places!!!! (Dinuba is like super close to where I am from in Visalia!!!! Small world!) Anyways, they are amazing!! And they want to be baptized so that is something to look forward to. (:

Thanksgiving was AMAZING. We went to the Jacobson's for Thanksgiving lunch, and the Elders were there and so were a few of our investigators. We ate this huge, wonderful meal, and then played a few games together. SO. MUCH. FUN.

Afterwards, we had the opportunity to meet with several other families/people that we love so much and we shared messages with them about thanksgiving and it was AWESOME.

Saturday morning we played in the Turkey Bowl... We had so much fun and I am still way way sore but it was fantastic!!!!!!

I am so thankful for so many things. Especially my mission. Seriously. I love it so much. I love the missionaries that I am blessed to be serving around, and I love President and Sister Welch, and my family. I have so much to be grateful for!!!!

Hope y'all have a great week!

 Love, Sister Feil

Indy Temple!!!

This week was so incredible!

Monday I got cake to the face (thanks Elder Verdoni and Elder Erikson...) and that was cool haha.

We had just finished playing sand volleyball and for some reason there was a cake and somehow it ended up in my face and then Elder Eriksen's and then Sister Cook's.

Tuesday was very fun! We went to help Brother Foulk reorganize his camping stuff, and then we saw our friend 'S'! She is so amazing. She is enjoying learning more and more about the gospel and knows she needs to make changes but isn't quite ready to do that yet. We got to help our friend 'P' do some family history work, and then checked up with our friend 'AW' because she was preparing to go to the temple!

Wednesday was fabulous! We had zone conference which took up most of the day, and I felt and learned so much from President and Sister Welch. SO MUCH! I just love those two with all my heart. Sister Cook and I and the Zone Leaders had stake reports with the Stake President right after, and then after that, Sister Welch came to visit our friend 'R' with us! 'R' is progressing so well. She has officially decided that she wants to be baptized, but she doesn't want to rush into it so it has been pushed back a few weeks. But she absolutely loved Sister Welch and has committed to live the Word of Wisdom and Law of Tithing! What's even better is she desires to obey those commandments. She was so willing to quit drinking tea! No hesitation. Ah, she really is wonderful.

Thursday this AWESOME miracle happened! We went into this one neighborhood to visit some referrals, but then felt inspired to go stop by 'D's (someone we had met two weeks earlier), and he wasn't home... so we tried his neighbors, who also didn't answer. It was getting close to the time that we needed to leave for our next appointment but the Spirit told me ONE MORE DOOR. So a few house down from where we were, I felt strongly we should knock on that door. The lady went to put her robe on and let us right on in, and she had the most beautiful antique collections displayed all over her home! She handed me an angel and said, "I have always wanted to give this to a messenger." It was so cool! We talked about her, her religious background, and she actually invited us over for Thanksgiving, and said she really wants us back to chat. It was so cool! Her name is Mary, and I will never forget Mary. She is super open so we are excited for when we will have the opportunity to meet with her again.

Friday was a very busy day! We had an appointment with a potentially returning member in our ward and her adorable daughter who wants to be baptized. They are so cute! I am super excited to get to know them better.

Saturday was SO AWESOME! We went down to Indy for most of the day to go to the temple! (: Our friend 'AW' went for the first time since she was a teenager and she loved it! She had the biggest smile on her face the whole time! And of course, it is always AH-MAZING to be in the temple and to feel of the Spirit there in great abundance. It was so incredible.

Sunday was great! We had a lot of meetings, but church was wonderful because 'R' came and she shared with us that Relief Society was her favorite part about church! She loves it so much!! She has been a lot fun to work with, and I am so happy for the progress she is making!

Well, that pretty much sums up the week... and we have yet another busy one ahead!!!!!!!!

Hope y'all have a great and busy week as well. (:

Love ya! Sister Feil

Happy Turkey Month!

Hello friends!

This last week was fabulous! Just working hard. All day. Every day.

Exchanges...

It was EXTRA SPECIAL because Sister Cook and I went on two different exchanges in a row! On Tuesday I was with Sister Meecham (: and then on Wednesday I went to Marion with Sister Parker!!!!

Friday we had Leadership in Cincinnati and we got to drive down the night before. On our way.... we went to Elwood to pick up Sister Littleford, this cute senior sister and we just had the best time driving to Cincinnati together.

Sister Littleford and us!

President and Sister Judd, some friends of the Welch's (our mission president and his wife) were there, and in our conference President Judd said something quite fantastic! He said, "Be wise enough not to get discouraged." I really enjoyed this thought a lot... It pretty much applies to every situation in life!!

Leadership... Love these sisters so much!

You are who you choose to be, and you can choose to be HAPPY! Love it, love it!

I know this is kind of a short email... But here's to hoping you all have a fabulous week!

Love, Sister Feil
