Happy Turkey Day!

Oh man. What a week... It has been so crazy. One of my favorites, Sister Conrad, got to be with Sister Cook and I this week because her companion finished her mission and went home for Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun!! We went to Newcastle to work with her in her area on Wednesday and Saturday, and then stayed in Muncie for the rest. There is this couple in Newcastle that the missionaries are teaching who are from Dinuba... Of all places!!!! (Dinuba is like super close to where I am from in Visalia!!!! Small world!) Anyways, they are amazing!! And they want to be baptized so that is something to look forward to. (:

Thanksgiving was AMAZING. We went to the Jacobson's for Thanksgiving lunch, and the Elders were there and so were a few of our investigators. We ate this huge, wonderful meal, and then played a few games together. SO. MUCH. FUN.

Afterwards, we had the opportunity to meet with several other families/people that we love so much and we shared messages with them about thanksgiving and it was AWESOME.

Saturday morning we played in the Turkey Bowl... We had so much fun and I am still way way sore but it was fantastic!!!!!!

I am so thankful for so many things. Especially my mission. Seriously. I love it so much. I love the missionaries that I am blessed to be serving around, and I love President and Sister Welch, and my family. I have so much to be grateful for!!!!

Hope y'all have a great week!

Indy Temple!!!

This week was so incredible!

Monday I got cake to the face (thanks Elder Verdoni and Elder Erikson...) and that was cool haha.

We had just finished playing sand volleyball and for some reason there was a cake and somehow it ended up in my face and then Elder Eriksen's and then Sister Cook's.

Tuesday was very fun! We went to help Brother Foulk reorganize his camping stuff, and then we saw our friend 'S'! She is so amazing. She is enjoying learning more and more about the gospel and knows she needs to make changes but isn't quite ready to do that yet. We got to help our friend 'P' do some family history work, and then checked up with our friend 'AW' because she was preparing to go to the temple!

Wednesday was fabulous! We had zone conference which took up most of the day, and I felt and learned so much from President and Sister Welch. SO MUCH! I just love those two with all my heart. Sister Cook and I and the Zone Leaders had stake reports with the Stake President right after, and then after that, Sister Welch came to visit our friend 'R' with us! 'R' is progressing so well. She has officially decided that she wants to be baptized, but she doesn't want to rush into it so it has been pushed back a few weeks. But she absolutely loved Sister Welch and has committed to live the Word of Wisdom and Law of Tithing! What's even better is she desires to obey those commandments. She was so willing to quit drinking tea! No hesitation. Ah, she really is wonderful.

Thursday this AWESOME miracle happened! We went into this one neighborhood to visit some referrals, but then felt inspired to go stop by 'D's (someone we had met two weeks earlier), and he wasn't home... so we tried his neighbors, who also didn't answer. It was getting close to the time that we needed to leave for our next appointment but the Spirit told me ONE MORE DOOR. So a few house down from where we were, I felt strongly we should knock on that door. The lady went to put her robe on and let us right on in, and she had the most beautiful antique collections displayed all over her home! She handed me an angel and said, "I have always wanted to give this to a messenger." It was so cool! We talked about her, her religious background, and she actually invited us over for Thanksgiving, and said she really wants us back to chat. It was so cool! Her name is Mary, and I will never forget Mary. She is super open so we are excited for when we will have the opportunity to meet with her again.

Friday was a very busy day! We had an appointment with a potentially returning member in our ward and her adorable daughter who wants to be baptized. They are so cute! I am super excited to get to know them better.

Saturday was SO AWESOME! We went down to Indy for most of the day to go to the temple! (: Our friend 'AW' went for the first time since she was a teenager and she loved it! She had the biggest smile on her face the whole time! And of course, it is always AH-MAZING to be in the temple and to feel of the Spirit there in great abundance. It was so incredible.

Sunday was great! We had a lot of meetings, but church was wonderful because 'R' came and she shared with us that Relief Society was her favorite part about church! She loves it so much!! She has been a lot fun to work with, and I am so happy for the progress she is making!

Well, that pretty much sums up the week... and we have yet another busy one ahead!!!!!!!!

Hope y'all have a great and busy week as well. (:

Love ya! Sister Feil

Happy Turkey Month!

Hello friends!

This last week was fabulous! Just working hard. All day. Every day.

Exchanges...

It was EXTRA SPECIAL because Sister Cook and I went on two different exchanges in a row! On Tuesday I was with Sister Meecham (: and then on Wednesday I went to Marion with Sister Parker!!!!

Friday we had Leadership in Cincinnati and we got to drive down the night before. On our way.... we went to Elwood to pick up Sister Littleford, this cute senior sister and we just had the best time driving to Cincinnati together.

Sister Littleford and us!

President and Sister Judd, some friends of the Welch's (our mission president and his wife) were there, and in our conference President Judd said something quite fantastic! He said, "Be wise enough not to get discouraged." I really enjoyed this thought a lot... It pretty much applies to every situation in life!!

Leadership... Love these sisters so much!

You are who you choose to be, and you can choose to be HAPPY! Love it, love it!

I know this is kind of a short email... But here's to hoping you all have a fabulous week!

Love, Sister Feil
